YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — Heather Morgan, the rapper known as Razzlekhan, has released a new music video titled “Razzlekhan vs. The United States” ahead of her scheduled 18-month prison sentence. Morgan was convicted of laundering funds connected to the infamous Bitfinex hack, where approximately 120,000 bitcoin were stolen.
Razzlekhan’s Video Reflects on Crypto Laundering Case
The video features Morgan performing in bold visuals, including lyrics that hint at her perspective on the federal case. She raps,
“This ain’t no free country; it running on money; capitalists chummy; old white men hella grumpy,”
while appearing bound in red ropes. The release comes less than two months after her courtroom appearance, where she expressed remorse for her involvement.
Morgan, along with her husband, Ilya Lichtenstein, was charged in connection with laundering the stolen crypto. Lichtenstein received a five-year sentence, while Morgan’s shorter sentence reflected her secondary role in the operation.

During her sentencing, Morgan apologized to the court, stating her actions would haunt her “for the rest of my life.” Additionally, she described the damage to her reputation as “utterly and completely” irreversible. Despite her request to avoid further imprisonment, the judge mandated her to report to prison by the end of January.
The new music video portrays a stark contrast to her courtroom demeanor. In the video, Morgan leans into her Razzlekhan persona, using exaggerated visuals and provocative lyrics. She has claimed her work serves as a form of expression, stating,
“It symbolizes many of my thoughts and actual experiences throughout our federal case.”
Razzlekhan’s Appeal to Misfits and Creatives
Morgan said her music resonates with misfits and creatives, who find inspiration in her content.
“Many creatives and misfits have told me that Razzlekhan content has been really inspiring to them, and it makes them feel less alone,”
she said in a statement.
The video also includes a reference to Elon Musk, with Morgan rapping,
“Old money, gold dusty; save me Elon Musky!”
The line aligns with the song’s themes but does not directly address her legal troubles.
Heather Morgan’s Future Under Federal Restrictions
Moreover, Morgan’s sentence includes restrictions on her computer usage, which will be monitored by federal authorities. These limitations could impact her ability to continue creating Razzlekhan content.
